A new Blog.

I have decided now to make a new blog all about China in a more organized and categorized fashion but will still keep this one running along side it. I decided to go for Wordpress for a change and we will just see hoew it all goes. I do hope it is a success and that I get a good amount of readers coming to it. Let's see. I have learned a lot about seo lately and how I can make it a good blog and get it too be search engine friendly.
I guess we learn new things all the time. I am in Chinatown, Manhattan once again and so am enjoying getting my fresh Chinese veggies for the noodles that my Beloved likes. Let's see what we can go and cunjure up for today's meal then.

Actually I am staying on thsi one. I think my techy friend that was going to help me with the Wordpress blog is too busy so I am sticking to this one for now.

THE GREAT WALL..

One of my unforgotten dreams is to one day clamber up the Great Wall of China..I wonder how many people have lived and died with some attachment of great purpose to this great monument of Chinese History?
I would love to have an attached purpose..well at least make some use of getting my lungs heaving in a rythmic mass lol. I aim to be there within the next couple of years if time and space permit and in the future I will bring some great stories of inspiration surrounding this Great Wall..apart from Starbucks and the Bloggers' bit of craziness to try and get it removed lol.I will leave that for the politicians to deal with.
I will just climb and enjoy.

A PARTING GIFT..

Well I am having to travel back to the U.K soon and will miss the man I am leaving behind. We exchanged parting gifts yesterday. He bought me a lovely traditional Chinese dress and I got him an agate pendant carved with a monkey riding a horse which according to Chinese tradition is for the monkey to have his wish comes true. Jia Wu is a monkey in the Chinese Zodiac so I wanted to give him something with meaning. Well we ladies love our dresses so I was well pleased with my prezzie. I leave this post today with a poem I wrote for him at lunch time.

the winds, they blow ferociously, trying hard to block my mind..
But my little heart relentless, soldiers on and never Does abate.
Blind bolders are set forth to crush me, but can never see..
That my love lives on in all that is and all that will ever be.

Jia Wu, your name is haunting, like a ghost so faithful, true.
If ever you decide to leave me, your name will just remain..
The winds will carry it across the four corners of this world.
And as I depart into the Next..Will carry it there on..
