Happy Chinese New Year.

I wish everyone whe is reading this today a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR..XIN NIAN KUAI LE and wsh that all of those Lovely Chinese who have been stranded in the really bad weather in China get reunited with their families as soon as possible. I won't be celebrating it myself as I am far away from my Chinese Beloved who is quite distant from me at the moment anyway due to the distance, so he doesn't want to celebrate it at all with me as a punishment for being away lol. I do understand him, but it isn't all my fault..I wish I could be with him but circumstances don't allow me at the moment, so not only am I missing him but also I am kind of being punished for being away. So there, that is the reason I can't celebrate even though I tried my best to cheer him up and send him festive messages. I suppiose once a guoilao always a guoilao. I may never really be acceptedd into a Chinese family after all, despite that.I still want to wish every one a happy new year, my love doesn't change for him because of circumstance or weather..I hope he realizes that one day.

Year of the rat..

Now it is the year of the rat..Let's see who is going to have some luck lol.

Year of the rat people were born in 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996.
So if you were in any of these years that's who you are according to the Chinese Zodiac.

Rats are usually know for their attractiveness and are natural chic or bloke magnets lol. They are ambitions, perfectionists, thrifty with the old moola and are good at getting what they want. They are known to be good gossips but easily burn their fuse and get pissy very quickly. They get on mostly with dragons, monkeys and oxes..Just to let you know of course. They are born Leaders and so usually go on to conquer the world at some point!
Here is a list of the rat and its elements, as in Chinese astrology the elements come into play..

HAPPY NEW YEAR..Xin Nian Kuai Le!!

I will be away from my Zhang Fu this Chinese New Year but I am trying my best to put on a brave face not to upset him that I am feeling the pinch real bad and cried a bit the last few days. I don't care about a red envelope, just I wanted a cuddle and to see his lovely eyes again.
Anyway not to get too much into soppy mode I thought I would post this song that I want to learn and here are the Lyrics and a great Youtube version of it. It might cheer us all up a little.

die ge qian zhi he, zai xi ge hong yao dai
fold a paper crane, then tie a red belt
yuan shan liang de ren men tian tian hao yun lai
wish kind people good luck every day
wish you beautiful industrious life, wish you healthy like spring all the time
ni yi sheng de mang lu wei le xiao zhu yan kan
you are busy all life for a smiley face
da ge zhong guo jie, qing chun feng jian ge cai
yuan zu guo de ri yue nian nian hao yun lai
wish motherland good luck each day, each month, and each year
ni feng wu tai ping nian, ni long teng xin shi dai
you dance like a phoenix for a peaceful year, you rock and roll like a dragon in this new age
wish your happy family receiving blooming flowers
hao yun lai zhu ni hao yun lai
good luck is coming and wish you good luck

good luck brings happiness and love

good luck is coming, our good luck is coming
following the good luck with business booming all over the world.

The Chinese New Year is upon Us.

This year is the year of the Rat coming soon and I am quite saddened at the fact that I will not be spending it with my Beloved who is languishing across the Pond and waiting for me to cook noodle soup. Oh well I can't just sit and mope around but instead have to do something about it fast or it will drive us both mad lol.
I hope that every one has a great new year and even though I won't be celebrating as I am far from any thing remotely Chinese here in this neck of the woods my thoughts and prayers will be sent out to every one that is having fun at this time with their friends and loved ones.
The formal name for this year is Wu Jhi and for the Chinese it is the astrological year of 4705..though some astrologers dispute it and say it is 4076.
Chun Lian are special auspicious writings tha many Chinese hang in their homes at the time of the Spring Festival..or Chinese New Year.
Please have a great New Year on me..XIN NIAN KUAI LE...
